Barcelona did not have it all their own way in their first match of the new campaign, with the side having to come from a goal down to secure victory over Valencia.

Robert Lewandowski scored both of Barcelona's goals in another strong performance from the veteran striker. He will once again be a focal point of attack for the home side as they look to make the most out of their possession in the match.

The major worry for Barcelona will be that if Lewandowski fails to score, who will pick up the slack? While this will be a problem they may have to deal with at some point during the season, I do not believe Bilbao will find a way to stop him scoring once again this week.

Athletic Bilbao Form

Athletic Bilbao could not take all three points from their opening match of the season as they were left frustrated by Getafe.

Beating a club that lost 15 times last season is vital is Bilbao are to build on their fifth-placed finish last term, but a real lack of scoring intent cost the home side two points.

Bilbao saw 70% of the ball in their opening match and took seven shots. Against Barcelona, most of their chances will have to come from countering their opponents in a clash in which they will see little of the ball. If Bilbao are anything like as blunt as they were last week, then they will lose this one comfortably.
