Bayern Munich came back from 2-0 down to hammer Freiburg 6-2 in their last Bundesliga outing.

St Pauli have been unable to shake an awful run that has been extended to see them lose their last eight Bundesliga matches.

Bayern Munich continue to dominate the Bundesliga, although they did not have everything their own way against Freiburg last week as they had to come from 2-0 down to secure a 6-2 win.

This victory maintained their six-point lead at the summit, while it saw them move onto 41 goals scored in the league. The one frustration will be that they conceded two goals last week, with their previous 10 games seeing them concede just six times.

With their loss to Arsenal in the Champions League in midweek likely still ringing in their ears, Bayern will be desperate to hit back in a big way against a St Pauli side that have lost their last eight.

I back Harry Kane to make amends for his blank in midweek as he fires once again in the Bundesliga in a big win for the home side.

If St Pauli were arriving for this clash with Bayern Munich on the back of an eight-game winning run, this would still be a daunting trip to make. The fact they arrive on the back of eight consecutive defeats makes optimism for this one a distant memory.

Their last league win came against Augsburg in a 2-1 triumph back on September 14, with points and clean sheets proving impossible to come by. Fortunately for St Pauli, their first three matches ended in two wins and a draw, with their seven points meaning they are only one point behind Wolfsburg in 15th.

While St Pauli will be desperate to win, I do not see them getting close to their hosts. Bayern have been far too good for any opponent in the league, and I predict that this trend will continue this weekend.
