Eintracht Frankfurt have been enjoying an excellent start to the season, with the side able to notch a total of 25 points from their opening 15 games.
Borussia Dortmund are still Bayern Munich’s closest rivals in the Bundesliga, with the side nine points behind the runaway leaders.

With the gap between themselves and RB Leipzig in fourth now standing at just four points, a win in this match could see the home side really strengthen their hopes of a spot in Europe’s elite competition next season.
However, they now face an opponent they have lost seven of their last 10 meetings with. Eintracht Frankfurt were also humiliated in a 6-0 loss to RB Leipzig the last time they took on another of the top four sides. With this in mind, I worry for the home team and back against them getting anything from this game.

Borussia Dortmund arrive for their 16th game of the Bundesliga season knowing that they need to build a run of wins if they are to have any hope of catching Bayern Munich, who play Wolfsburg on Sunday.
With the gap between Bayern and Dortmund now standing at nine points, many will have already written the latter offer, especially when considering the former’s incredible ability to win and the latter’s propensity to drop points.
Despite this, I believe that Dortmund will secure a statement win against one of the better sides in the competition. The travelling side have won three of their last four against their opponents and I predict they will impress in a low-scoring game.

I am backing Borussia Dortmund to secure all three points in this one as they make it four consecutive matches in which less than 2.5 goals have been scored.
