Elche vs Real Madrid Preview & Tips
Elche were able to grind out a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad in their last league game as they put an end to a run of two consecutive defeats in La Liga.
Real Madrid dropped two points in their last league outing as they were held in a 0-0 draw by a stubborn Rayo Vallecano.

- Real are unbeaten in their last five in the league (W4, D1)
- Real beat Elche with an aggregate score of 7-0 when the pair last met over a season in 2022/23
Head To Head
Real Madrid have never lost to Elche, winning eight of their last 10 with the other two ending as draws.
Elche Form
Elche began the season in stunning form, going unbeaten across their opening seven games with this run including three wins and four draws.
However, their 3-1 loss to Alaves at the start of October has started a worrying run of three defeats and two draws in five matches. After their brilliant start, their last five matches have seen them slip down to 11th in the league with 15 points, five clear of Girona in 18th.
This weekend, they will hope to build on a battling 1-1 draw with Sociedad in their last game, but there is a big difference between the two in terms of quality. Real hammered their opponents 3-0 and 4-0 when they last met back in the 2022/23 season, and I back more of the same in this one.
Real Madrid Form
Despite dropping two points in their final match before the November international break, Real Madrid still find themselves three-points clear at the top of La Liga following a brilliant run.
This weekend, the focus has to be on ensuring they do not draw a blank in front of goal again. Across the entire La Liga season, Real have only failed to score once, with this coming as they were held by Rayo Vallecano last time out.
This week, I expect a reaction. I back Real to keep a clean sheet for the third consecutive league game as they easily beat Elche.
Verdict
I am backing Real to win this one to nil as they extend their unbeaten run to six games.
