England are eyeing making it three consecutive wins in the Nations League this week when they host top of the group Greece.

Greece can really put their stamp on their Nations League group by beating England and moving three points clear at the summit.

The two nations have met seven times, with England winning five matches and the other two games ending as draws.

England have not quite been at their best across the start of their Nations League campaign, and yet they boast a perfect record in the competition to this point.

A pair of 2-0 wins over Ireland and Finland means they are yet to concede a goal, while Harry Kane starred against Finland with a brace. There have been questions over Kane's supposed lack of movement in the side at times, but his goal scoring ability was on full show in England's last outing.

Now, England know they face their biggest opposition in the group, but it is worth remembering that England have never lost to Greece. Seven meetings have come and gone with England winning five times, with each of these wins coming to nil.

Greece Form

Greece have excelled at the start of the Nations League campaign, with their two wins sending them to the top of the group, ahead of England on goal difference.

Their 3-0 win over Finland in game one was a commanding triumph before they eased to a 2-0 away win against Ireland. Both victories saw Greece keep clean sheets, with the side building on what has been a solid defence to this point.

The main worry for Greece is that their record against England is so poor. Their hosts have beaten them in five of their seven meetings, and while Greece are in good form right now, the pressure of ending their long wait for a win over the English will likely tell.
