Chelsea toiled in a 1-1 friendly draw with Inter Milan in their last outing as they had to wait until the 90th minute to get on the scoresheet.

City have secured eight wins over Chelsea in their last 10, with the Blues failing to win as the other two have ended in draws.

Chelsea have been toiling through preseason, with the side finding wins and clean sheets very tough to come by.

Defeats to Manchester City and Real Madrid were followed by a 1-1 draw with Inter Milan. While the quality of their opponent has been very high across their last three, the Blues would have fancied themselves to challenge more consistently. With three games seeing them concede a combined seven goals, the Blues have issues at the back.

While Chelsea will always fancy themselves at home, I believe they will once again fall foul of a side that have had their number of late.

Manchester City Form

Manchester City finally ended a run of four defeats in a row across May and July, with a double-header of wins over Chelsea and Manchester United.

Their win over United saw them secure the first piece of silverware as they were triumphant in the Community Shield. They will now target a winning start as they look to excel in what will be another busy campaign.

Erling Haaland hammered in a hat-trick when the two sides met earlier in the month, and I am backing another masterclass in finishing in this one.
