Tottenham have won seven of their last 10 against Palace, with the latter winning once and two games ending as a draw.

Crystal Palace currently sit in 18th in the Premier League after a torrid start to their season has seen them secure just three points.

Their inability to secure their maiden win this term means the pressure on the players is mounting week by week. Their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool saw Palace battle hard and come up just short, but their defeats to Everton (2-1) and Nottingham Forest (1-0) saw Palace fail to take points from two sides that may also be in the relegation spots as the season draws to a close.

With just five goals scored, Palace have been timid in attack. They have been fairly good at the back, conceding 11 times, which is less than any side sitting in 13th and below. However, with goals so hard to come by, sides have generally only needed to take one of their chances to beat Palace.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham were hugely disappointing before the last international break as they allowed a 2-0 lead to slip through their fingers as they were beaten 3-2 by Brighton.

They returned to league duty with an impressive 4-1 win over West Ham as they came from a goal down to secure all three points. This was their third win in their last four in the league, and it means Spurs sit in in seventh, four points behind Aston Villa in fourth.

A win in this one is vital as they look to climb the table. Victory is also crucial for morale, as losing to one of their four sides without a win in the league this season would be an embarrassing result for a side with the lofty ambitions Tottenham have.
