Manchester City eased to a 4-0 win over Slovan Bratislava in their last game as they bounced back from their 1-1 draw with Newcastle at the weekend.

Manchester City needed their win over Slovan Bratislava in midweek to ensure they bounced back from a frustrating 1-1 draw with Newcastle in their sixth Premier League game of the season.

This draw was their second successive stalemate in the league following their pulsating 2-2 draw with Arsenal the week before. Despite failing to win either of their last two league games, City find themselves a point short of Liverpool at the summit.

A win in this one could send them back to the top, and they will once again look to the scoring exploits of Erling Haaland, who has now scored an impressive 10 goals across his opening six league games.

Fulham Form

Fulham have impressed this season, with the side picking up 11 points and moving into sixth in the table.

Their 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest put their resolve on full show, while they impressed as they cracked an opponent that have been tough to beat. This win was their second in as many league games, with Fulham beating Newcastle 3-1 the week before.

While Fulham arrive in decent form, they have been poor against City, and it is tough to see them ending their woeful run. While I do back them to get on the scoresheet, I predict that they will see their five-game unbeaten run brought to an end this weekend.

I am backing City to secure all three points in this one as they ease to victory over their opponents in a match that sees over 3.5 goals. I am also backing Erling Haaland to score twice as he continues his scintillating scoring form.
