Leicester are looking to take advantage of Manchester United's change in management when they travel to Old Trafford in the week.

Manchester United have won five of their last 10 against the Foxes, with Leicester winning three meetings and two games ending as draws.

Manchester United will be hoping that a change of manager will coincide with a change in fortune from winning just one of their last eight in all competitions.

While they have only lost two matches in this time, a run of six draws has seen the side drop points at regular intervals, with an inability to win games ultimately costing Erik ten Hag his job. Now, United will want to find a way to hit the ground running in the post-ten Hag era against a Leicester side they should beat.

United beat Leicester in their last two meetings in the league in the 2022/23 season, and I am backing them to benefit from the bump in form many teams enjoy when parting ways with a manager.

Leicester's plans for their clash with Manchester United will likely have changed somewhat as they face up to a group of players that will want to prove that they were not the problem in the wake of their manager's dismissal.

The Foxes have been better of late, winning two of their last three matches in the league. Wins over Bournemouth and Southampton saw Leicester revitalise their campaign, but they slipped to a frustrating home defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

While Forest have been strong this season, I am backing them to slip to a second defeat in as many games as they are knocked out of the cup.
