Head To Head
France have won six of their last 10 against Belgium, with the latter winning twice and two games ending as draws.
France Form
Despite enjoying more of the ball and taking more shots than Italy, France could not make the most of their chances as they were comfortably beaten 3-1 by their opponents. Of those 12 shots, only three hit the target, with France incredibly wasteful.
While none of the groups in League A are particularly forgiving, France will feel they have arguably the toughest group, with Italy and Belgium top sides. Despite this, France simply have to beat Belgium. If they are to lose on Tuesday and Italy beat Israel, then France will be six points off the pace after just two outings.
Following their dismal 3-1 loss to Italy in game one, I am expecting a far tighter match as the home team keep a clean sheet but struggle for goals.
Belgium Form
Belgium put a lot of pressure on Israel in their opening Nations League match as they took a total of 25 shots, with the side winning 3-1 to take all three points.
Admittedly, Israel will not be the toughest test for Belgium in this campaign, but it was vital they got off to a winning start, which is exactly what they did. Now, the focus will be on trying to make it two wins in as many games.
The worry for Belgium will be that they have lost their last three matches against their opponents, with Belgium struggling to match the quality of the French. While Belgium looked in good touch in game one, I am backing a lot of their good work to be undone when they face France in game two.
Verdict
I am backing a tight French win as they secure their third 1-0 victory in their last four against Belgium.
