Inter Milan vs Juventus Preview & Tips

Inter Milan hammered Sassuolo 5-0 in their last outing in the league as they easily beat their mid-table opponents.

Juventus were held by Lazio last time out as they dropped points in a 2-2 draw on their own patch.

Inter Milan extended their stunning run in Serie A to 11 consecutive wins as their last outing ended in a comfortable 5-0 win over their opponents.

This triumph with their second consecutive win to nil, while they have now won four of their last five without conceding. Clearly, scoring is an issue against this Inter Milan side, but they are also adding a consistent threat up front, with the side scoring 13 goals across their last three games.

While Juventus will arrive chasing a win that will drag them back to within nine points of the leaders, I do not back them to take home all three points. Inter are the better side and on a superb run, and I predict that they will make their stunning unbeaten run count as they pick up a statement win.

Juventus will feel they should arrive for their clash with Inter on the back of three consecutive wins, but their 2-2 draw with Lazio saw them having to battle back from 2-0 down to secure a point.

Against an opponent that had only won three of their 11 away games prior to their clash with Juventus, the side would have been hugely disappointed to have dropped two points. Ultimately, this was Juve's season summed up, with the former champions dropping points in 11 of their 24 matches this season.

While this will likely be a cagey game in which two good sides come together, I predict that Juventus will have to stomach a defeat that sees their faint hopes of winning the league title evaporate completely.
