Spain's top league La Liga is once again pitting some of the best sides in the club game against each other, with the competition throwing up shock results, stunning goals and incredible moments.

With the new season edging towards its finale, Barcelona are the current favourites, but can they hold off the challenge of Real Madrid?

Real Madrid may be the reigning champions, but they are massive underdogs in the betting at 101, with the side struggling to keep pace with Barcelona at the summit.

Barcelona are the current favourites to secure the trophy at 1.00 after their stunning run was capped off by a 4-3 win over Real Madrid in their latest clash. This came despite Barca going 2-0 down, with the league leaders showing all of their resolve and quality in a stunning win.

Barcelona currently sit seven points clear of Real with three games and nine points left. Real will need a collapse of epic proportions to win the title from here.

Atletico Madrid are out of contention once again, with the side no longer able to catch Barcelona at the top. While they promised so much earlier in the season, they have once again been left to rue what might have been.

Real were able to romp to the title by 10 points last season as they were only beaten once across their 38 league games. With 87 goals scored and 26 conceded, Real boasted the best attack and defence in the league.

Despite heavy investment in the summer, statistically they are already worse off. Real have lost six of their 35 matches so far, while they have already conceded more goals than they did last season.

With only a handful of games left to come, Barcelona are the overwhelming favourites, with the side almost a certainty to secure the trophy. Meanwhile, Real have likely missed out on both the La Liga and Champions League crowns in a season to forget for the club.

Which side do you think will win La Liga in 2025? Can Real Madrid defend their crown, or will another side secure the trophy?
