Real Madrid have secured seven wins in their last 10 against Las Palmas, with the latter winning once and two games ending as draws.

Las Palmas were excellent on the opening weekend as they held Sevilla to a 2-2 draw in an entertaining match that allowed the side to notch a point.

However, they struggled against Leganes as they tasted defeat for the first time this term. While it is still very early days, Las Palmas will know that they have to utilise any momentum they can create if they are to avoid relegation.

While the home side kept things tight in both meetings with Real last term, they face a side that scored three against Valladolid last weekend and will be aiming for more of the same this week.

Real Madrid may not have been completely convincing in their second match, but they still managed to score three goals as they notched their first win of the new season.

Kylian Mbappe once again drew a blank in front of goal as he left the rest of his teammates to pick up the slack. While Real have the talent up-front to score the goals, they will want to see Mbappe find his scoring form in front of goal quickly.

With the pressure of getting their first win of the season now gone, Real can turn their attention to making it two wins on the bounce as they take on a Las Palmas side with a leaky defence.
