Ligue 1 is the top domestic football league in France, with the best sides from the country all fighting for supremacy.

While each team arrives hoping to clinch glory, one side has become synonymous with winning in France, and that is reigning champions PSG, who are massive favourites at 1.00 to secure another trophy this season.

PSG have been unstoppable in Ligue 1, with the side currently available at 1.00 to secure silverware in France's top league once again. They have secured 21 wins and five draws in their opening 26, meaning they have moved to the top of the standings with 68 points.

PSG's exploits in recent years have come on the back of huge financial backing, although they have lost some of their star quality in recent years. Their attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe has slowly been eroded, with Mbappe departing for Real Madrid in the summer and finally seeing PSG having to move on without them.

While Mbappe's departure will have given some teams hope that they can finally end PSG's dominance, this has not happened. In fact, PSG look like a far better team following his departure, with the French champions looking brilliant on the pitch.

PSG's closest competitor is currently priced at 1501, with Marseille seen as the most likely winner of Ligue 1 outside of the reigning champions. This comes after Marseille were beaten 3-1 by PSG to see them slip 19 points off the top.

Last term, PSG were poor by their own standards as they won 22 of their 34 matches, drawing 10 and losing twice. They finished nine points clear of a Monaco side that enjoyed a good season.

While PSG have lost their talismanic forward, they still have strong players to take his place. This has seen the French champions excel as the rest of the side have tried to prove they can win without Mbappe.

Ultimately, no side has gotten anywhere near PSG, who have once again proved they are far too good for the French league. While there is always next season, the 2025/26 campaign looks unlikely to see any team take the title from the champions.
