Manchester United were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace in the Premier League as their last league game ended in a draw.

FC Twente secured a 5-0 win over Almere City in their league game at the weekend.

This will be the first time the two sides have met in a competitive match.

Manchester United ended last week with an incredibly frustrating 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace, as they failed to make it three wins in as many outings.

A 3-0 win over Southampton in the league was followed by a 7-0 win over Barnsley as United looked good in front of goal. However, both wins papered over the cracks that this United side have in their side. Three clean sheets on the bounce is impressive, but they were very poor going forward against Palace.

While I do back United to get a win to nil in this one, I doubt it will be the big-scoring victory some will predict.

FC Twente Form

FC Twente have been tough to beat this season, but they are yet to test themselves against top opposition.

Their last outing against Almere City did end in a 5-0 win, although it is worth noting that they were hammering a side that had conceded 12 goals in five games prior to their clash with Twente. While Twente arrive in decent scoring form, they will find a far more resolute opponent in midweek.

With Manchester United boasting three clean sheets in their last three and Twente yet to face an opponent of real quality, I am backing against the away side.
