Manchester United battled to an unconvincing 3-2 win over Ipswich in their last league game as they secured a much-needed win.

Fulham edged to a 2-1 win over Wolves in the league in their last outing as they ensured they would arrive at Old Trafford on the back of victory.

United have won eight of their last 10 against Fulham, with their opponents winning once and one game ending as a draw.

Manchester United have been hugely underwhelming this season, with wins, goals and clean sheets tough to come by.

Heading into their clash with Ipswich in the league in midweek, United had won one of their previous four, drawing once and losing to nil against both Crystal Palace and Tottenham. Their struggles on the pitch means they desperately needed that 3-2 win over Ipswich in midweek, but this victory was far from convincing at home against a side that sits in the relegation zone.

Fulham constitute a threat that will push United all the way, as shown in the odds. However, the home side will hope they have turned the corner following a battling win in their last match. While I back them to win, I do not see them keeping a clean sheet, with defensive issues continuing to hurt the side.

Fulham Form

Fulham come into their FA Cup match following a 4-1 win over Watford and a 2-1 win against Wigan in the last round.

Since their win over Wigan, they have beaten Nottingham Forest 2-1, lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace and downed Wolves 2-1. The travelling side have enjoyed a decent run of form, but it is interesting to note that their last defeat prior to losing to Crystal Palace was at the hands of Manchester United.

Fulham have not had much luck against their opponents, and this will be the third meeting between the sides this season. Fulham have already been beaten twice by United this term, and I predict more pain for them this weekend.
