Manchester United vs Tottenham Preview & Tips
Manchester United have been excellent of late, with the side dragging themselves up to fourth in the Premier League with 41 points.
Tottenham may have taken a point from Manchester City in their last game, but they are now winless in six league games.
- The home side are unbeaten in their last seven in the league (W4, D3)
- United have seen both sides score in five of their last six in the league
Head To Head
United have won two of their last 10 against Tottenham, with Spurs winning five times and three matches ending as draws.
Manchester United Form
Manchester United have seemingly turned their season around, with the side only six points short of Manchester City in second in the standings.
11 wins, eight draws and five defeats have culminated in 41 points, with United a point clear of Chelsea in fifth. Their impressive run to the top four has been built on seven without defeat, with this featuring four wins and three draws. Victories over Newcastle, Manchester City, Arsenal and Fulham shows that United are finally finding a way to compete with the best on the pitch again.
Tottenham arrive for their 25th match of the season in woeful form, and United should be very confident against their opponents. The home side are yet to lose a game in 2026, while they have only lost two of their 12 at Old Trafford.
While I do not back United to keep a clean sheet, I do predict that they will extend their seven-game unbeaten run as they beat Tottenham.
Tottenham Form
Tottenham have been awful this season, with the side losing more games (nine) than they have won (seven).
The 29 points they have collected means they are only nine clear of West Ham in 18th. While it would take a monumental collapse for Spurs to get dragged deeper into the relegation equation, nothing is out of the question after their terrible start.
Tottenham have scored in each of their last eight outings in all competitions and I back them to extend this run. However, I do not see them winning this one as their woeful league run continues.
Verdict
I am backing Manchester United to secure all three points despite failing to keep a clean sheet.
