PSG vs Bayern Munich Preview & Tips

PSG have looked very strong in the Champions League this season, and they will target a statement win over Bayern Munich in match-week four.

Bayern Munich can extend their winning run in Europe to four matches and potentially move to the top of the standings with a win over their hosts.

Head To Head

PSG have won three of their last 10 against Bayern, with the Germans winning the other seven meetings.

PSG Form

PSG may not have the best historic form against Bayern Munich, but they boast one of the most impressive records in the tournament this season along with the 2024/25 Champions League trophy after a stunning campaign.

The French side are looking to continue their dominance in Europe after three statement wins. Their 4-0 win over Atalanta saw them flex their muscles, while away wins against Barcelona (2-1) and Bayer Leverkusen (7-2) were exceptional performances that have seen the French side move to the top of the table.

While Bayern will give PSG a real test, I back the champions to come out on top. They have been superb in the Champions League and will fully back themselves to dominate their opponents with the ball, with this usually ending in PSG creating and take a number of chances.

Bayern Munich Form

Bayern Munich continue to impress in the Champions League, with the side currently sitting in second place, level on points with leaders PSG.

It would be just reward for Bayern’s exceptional start if they can beat the leaders on their own patch and leapfrog them on the ladder. However, this will be far easier said than done.

Harry Kane will be central to Bayern’s hopes of winning this match after finding the back of the net in all three of their European games so far. However, with PSG playing at home and looking to make a big statement, I back them to come out on top against an opponent that will push them all the way.
