Brest hammered St Etienne in an impressive 4-0 win that put a run of two defeats on the bounce behind them.

Three victories over Le Havre, Montpellier and Lille has seen the reigning champions score 13 times in three outings. While the loss of France's biggest superstar is something they will have to deal with for some time to come, their attacking players have done a fantastic job of taking the chances that have fallen to them.

Brest have conceded seven times in their opening three, while PSG have scored 13 times. This one promises goals, and I am backing a big PSG win as they make it four wins in four attempts.

Brest Form

Brest began the season with two defeats that saw them fail to ever really get close enough to either Marseille or Lens, with 5-1 and 2-0 defeats respectively seeing them go pointless from their opening two.

However, they were much better in game two as they scored twice in either half against St Etienne to secure a much-needed 4-0 win. While the season is still in it's infancy, the club will not need reminding of how important avoiding long stretches of defeats will be.

While Brest return from the international break on the back of a win, it is tough to see them coming home from their trip to face PSG with anything other than a third defeat in four this term.
