PSG showed their resolve in their clash with Monaco last week as they came back from 2-0 down to secure a vital 3-2 win over their opponents.
Monaco will be wondering what might have been after they let a two-goal lead slip on their own patch.

PSG have won five of their last 10 against Monaco, with the latter winning three matches and two games ending as draws.
PSG Form
PSG went into the first-leg of their Champions League playoff clash with Monaco on the back of an inconsistent run of two draws and a defeat, with this seeing the reigning champions struggle for wins.
Their tough form in Europe looked like it would be extended into the playoffs after they slipped 2-0 down inside 20 minutes. However, they powered back with three unanswered goals that means they return home with a one-goal advantage heading into the second-leg.
While PSG have not been perfect against Monaco in recent meetings, they have a one-goal lead along with home advantage in the second-leg. I predict another entertaining meeting in the second-leg as the reigning champions make it into the Round of 16 at the tournament.
Monaco Form
Monaco had a place in the Round of 16 in the palm of their hands after storming into a 2-0 lead after just 20 minutes.
However, a collapse of epic proportions saw the home side concede three times without reply. While the quality of this PSG side was clear as they came roaring back, Monaco need to ask themselves some real questions defensively after crumbling under the pressure.
While the travelling side arrive with two wins in their last three in all competitions, they have only won one of their last five on the road, with this cluster of games including two draws and two defeats.
It is also a big worry for Monaco that they have lost two of their four on the road in the Champions League, winning once and drawing once. While I predict they will score for the fifth consecutive away game in Europe, I do not back them to win this one against a superior opponent.
Verdict
I am backing PSG to secure a crucial Champions League win as they move into the Round of 16 despite failing to keep a clean sheet for the fourth consecutive European match.
