PSG were left frustrated in their last match as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Nice on the road.

Strasbourg were also held to a draw as they had to share the points with Lens in a 2-2 stalemate.

PSG have won seven of their last 10 against Strasbourg, with the other three ending in draws.

PSG slipped two points behind Monaco in Ligue 1 as their last match saw them draw 1-1 with Nice away from home.

While Nice are proving fairly tough to beat right now, PSG would have fancied their chances of making it two consecutive wins in the league and six wins in seven. As it was, PSG dropped points for the second successive away game.

While the season is still very young, PSG will not want to see Monaco add more points to their lead at the summit. A victory in this one is vital, and while I do not predict that they will keep a clean sheet, they are my pick to take the points from this one.

Strasbourg Form

Strasbourg took a point from an entertaining 2-2 draw with Lens before the international break as they made it four without defeat in the league.

Their current unbeaten run is impressive, although it is worth noting that three of their games have ended in draws. A 1-0 win over Marseille in late-September shows Strasbourg can beat the top sides, but this came on their own patch.

With two defeats at the hands of PSG last season, I predict that the travelling side will slip to a loss this weekend.
