Rayo Vallecano continue to impress in the new La Liga season, with the side boasting four points from a possible six.

Their 2-1 win over Real Sociedad on the road in game one was followed by yet another positive performance away from home as they took a point from Getafe. While it is still very early days in the season, Rayo currently sit just two points short of Celta Vigo at the summit.

While the home side have impressed so far, they now come up against one of the best sides in the league. I do predict they will have their moments in the game, but I do not see them extending their unbeaten run to three matches.

Barcelona Form

Barcelona survived something of a wobble just before half-time as they came away with a 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao in week two.

Lamine Yamal once again proved his quality as he scored the opener, while Robert Lewandowski scored his third goal of the season as he won the game for his side. While the forward is entering the twilight of his career, he is showing that eye for goal is yet to leave him.

While Barcelona have been perfect so far, they are yet to keep a clean sheet or win a game comfortably. With this in mind, I am backing them to get their third win of the season in yet another one-goal win.
