Stuttgart were handed a 2-1 loss on their trip to face Hamburger in their last match as their winless run in the league was extended to two games.
Bayern Munich made it two consecutive wins in the Bundesliga as they left it late to eventually beat St Pauli 3-1.

Bayern have won seven of their last 10 against their opponents, with Stuttgart winning once and two games ending as draws.

Stuttgart have hit something of a speed bump in their last four Bundesliga matches, with the side winning once, drawing once and losing twice.
The four points they have collected from a possible 12 means they now sit 12 points behind their next opponents at the summit. Perhaps more importantly, Stuttgart are a point behind Bayer Leverkusen in fourth, with a Champions League spot far more likely for Stuttgart than them winning the title.
At home, Stuttgart have been excellent, winning all five of their outings. However, they now face a Bayern side have won four of their five on the road, drawing the other. Bayern also boast three consecutive wins over Stuttgart. While I predict that the home side will score for the 13th successive league game this season, I do not see them winning this one.
Bayern Munich Form
Bayern Munich just about extended their winning run in the league to two matches as they scored a brace of goals in injury time to beat St Pauli 3-1.
This win was Bayern's 12th in 13 league games, with it helping them move six points clear at the summit. With Bayern in sparkling form in the league, their relative difficulty in beating St Pauli was surprising as a side that have only avoided defeat three times this season gave the champions some real issues.
Luis Diaz put his goal-scoring skills on full show against St Pauli, netting the winner in the 93rd minute, and I back him to find the back of the net once again. While I do not predict that Bayern will keep a clean sheet in this one, I do back them to secure all three points.
Verdict
I am backing Luis Diaz to add to his seven goals in the league as he helps Bayern to all three points despite the champions failing to keep a clean sheet once again.
