The issue when it comes to backing Shelton is that he has lost 22 of his 59 matches this year. While his record is hardly terrible, it really puts into perspective how good Sinner is when he arrives with 61 wins in 67 matches in 2024.

With all of this in mind, it is tough to back Shelton to win against an opponent that many will back to win the entire tournament.
