Alex Michelsen was in fine form in the first round as he took less than two hours to beat Eliot Spizzirri to move into the second round.

This was a welcome return to winning ways after he was hammered 6-0 6-3 by Lorenzo Sonego in the final at Winston-Salem, with his run to the final impressive before he fell apart in the final.

While Michelsen has looked in good form in recent weeks, he arrives for this one with 27 defeats in 60 outings, and I am backing him to slip to a 28th defeat.
