The 2024 US Open is edging towards the grand final, with the last Grand Slam of the year already throwing up one of the most entertaining and unpredictable tournaments of the year.

With the competition edging towards the final, you can back Jannik Sinner at 1.95, with the Italian installed as the favourite after a number of shock defeats or some of the biggest names.

Jannik Sinner is available at 1.95, with the Italian easing into the semi-finals of the competition. His odds and the fact he is favourite comes on the back of stunning defeats for both Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, with the pair eliminated early in the tournament.

These eliminations have completely opened the competition up. Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev are the only options available below 10.00, with Alex de Minaur and Jack Draper also in the running.

The quarter-finals see Sinner take on Medvedev while Draper faces de Minaur. Fritz and Tiafoe have already secured their places in the semi-finals.

This year's US Open has been one of the most unpredictable ever. A lot of money will have gone on Alcaraz or Djokovic to lift the trophy, and yet both were eliminated long before the final.

Both Alcaraz and Djokovic made it to the final of the Olympic Games, with the latter winning 2-0 and securing gold. Perhaps the mental and physical toll of going all the way at the Olympic Games will have had a big impact on the two being eliminated.

Now, any of the competitors left could secure the Slam. For Sinner, this one is about dealing with the weight of expectation on him, with the Italian the big favourite. However, if he wants to be on the same level as Alcaraz and Djokovic he has to be better at taking his chances, and this is a big one.

Which player do you think will win the 2024 US Open? Can Sinner secure the final Slam of the year, or will another of the hopefuls end the year on a major high?
