Arsenal laboured to a 1-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in their Champions League match in midweek as they bounced back from their 2-0 loss to Bournemouth at the weekend.

Despite returning to winning ways, the Gunners were hardly at their best as they beat their opponents via an own goal. With their list of injuries growing, Arsenal are having to fight for each result right now, with the side putting their resolve on full show.

With Liverpool arriving in fine form, I predict that Arsenal will secure a very impressive point as they put their title-winning credentials on full show.

Liverpool have been superb this season, and they arrive with the chance to build a seven-point lead over their opponents with a win.

Their midweek win over RB Leipzig saw Liverpool sit on a tenuous 1-0 lead as they made it eight consecutive wins in all competitions. While they have made a point out of winning lately, the Reds have won their last three by a single goal in tight victories.

While the Reds are perfect on the road so far, they have hardly played top quality opposition away from home. Manchester United are the best of the four teams they have played, and they have hardly excelled this season.

With this in mind, I am backing Liverpool to secure a positive point on the road as they make it five without defeat in the league as Mohamed Salah adds to his five goals this season.
