Nottingham Forest rode their luck against Porto in the first-leg of their clash as they profited from a freak own goal two minutes after they had conceded. Despite being one good performance away from a European semi-final, Forest have not been perfect this season. Their last four European games have ended in two defeats, one win and one draw. Interestingly, where they have struggled in the first-leg, they have made up for it in the second-leg and vice versa. I predict another strong performance from Forest as they make the most out of a battling 1-1 draw in Portugal last week. 

Porto are now just three games away from a shot at the Europa League trophy after impressing across their campaign so far. 11 matches have culminated in seven wins, three draws and a single defeat. Prior to their clash with Forest, Porto had beat Rangers and Stuttgart twice in a solid run. The major worry for Porto heading into this match is that their only European defeat of the season came on the road against Forest back in October. Having failed to beat their opponents across their two previous meetings, I am backing the home side to secure a vital win on Thursday.
