Napoli vs Parma Preview & Tips 


Napoli are looking to give their title challenge a shot in the arm in midweek after two draws has seen them slip four-points short of Inter Milan at the summit. 

Parma were able to notch a vital 2-1 win over Lecce in their last match as they put more space between themselves and the relegation zone.

Napoli have won six of their last 10 matches against Parma, with the latter winning twice and two games ending as draws.

Napoli need to return to winning ways and quickly, with two consecutive draws seeing them miss the chance to edge closer to Inter Milan at the summit of Serie A. 

Admittedly, a 2-2 draw with Inter away from home in their last game was a very good result, but this came on the back of a 2-2 draw with struggling Verona. Despite arriving for this one on the back of a four-game unbeaten run in the league, Napoli know they still need to improve. 

At home, Napoli have looked strong. Six wins and two draws have come from their eight games in front of their own fans and they will know that this is a game they simply have to win. With Parma looking to extend their unbeaten run to two matches I do not back a hugely comfortable game, but I do predict the quality in this Napoli side to shine through as they hope for a slip-up from Inter, who face Lecce in midweek. 

Parma Form 


Parma beat Lecce 2-1 in their last outing as they bounced back from a two-game winless run with a much-needed win. 

Victory moved them onto 21 points, meaning they are seven clear of Fiorentina in 18th. While there is still plenty of the season to come, Parma will know that they can seriously enhance their chances of survival by going on a run of wins across the start of 2026. 

While I do predict that they will be competitive in this one, they will struggle to match Napoli. The home side are yet to lose at home and I believe they will take all three points from their struggling opponents. 

Verdict

I am backing Napoli to secure the win in this one in a low scoring match between the two sides.
