AC Milan eased to a comfortable win over Venezia in their last league game as they secured a 4-0 win.

The pair have met a total of seven times, with Liverpool winning five matches, Milan winning once and one game ending as a draw.

AC Milan may have secured an impressive 4-0 win over Venezia in their last game, but this win came against statistically the worst side in Serie A.

Venezia have lost three of their opening four and currently sit at the bottom of the league. Away from their win at the weekend, Milan have drawn with Torino and Lazio, with these results sandwiching a loss to Parma.

In each of those three matches, Milan have seen both teams score, and I am backing Milan to fail to win for the fourth successive match in which the other team manages to scores.

Liverpool will be looking for a much-improved attacking performance this week as they try to bounce back from the biggest shock result of the season so far.

Liverpool's 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest at Anfield saw a three-game winning run brought to an end, while it was both the first time they have conceded and failed to score in the new campaign.

Mo Salah has starred for Liverpool this season, scoring three times so far. While he drew a blank at the weekend, I am backing Arne Slot to mastermind a win in his first European match as Salah finds the back of the new once again.
