Galatasaray were nowhere near good enough in their opening Champions League game as they slipped to a damning 5-1 loss at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Galatasaray were guilty to switching off in injury time of the first-half as they conceded twice to head into the break 3-1 down. From there, they were not good enough to get back into the game as they slipped to a heavy defeat.

While there is still a long way to go in the competition, Galatasaray cannot afford another big defeat as they look to secure a playoff spot. However, I back them to struggle as another big European night gets away from them.

Liverpool have made a habit out of winning late this season, with their opening Champions League match no different.

Virgil van Dijk headed an injury time winner to secure the Reds a 3-2 win, getting them off to an ideal start with three points. Now, they turn their attention to an away game in Europe, with Galatasaray looking to bounce back from a stunning 5-1 loss.

With the Reds losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace at the weekend, Arne Slot's side need a reaction, and I back them to defeat Galatasaray despite conceding once again.
