Liverpool were able to extend their perfect run in the Champions League against RB Leipzig as they beat their opponents 1-0 to make it three consecutive wins in Europe.

The Reds arrive for their fourth European match on the back of two wins over Brighton in the cup and league, with this making it 11 games unbeaten which features 10 wins.

Mohamed Salah has been key to this run as he continues to score goals, and the experienced forward will be vital if Liverpool are to break a strong opponent down in what could be a thrilling clash.

Bayer Leverkusen Form

Bayer Leverkusen were hot-favourites to secure a third consecutive Champions League win when they took on Brest in matchday three, only to drop points in a 1-1 draw.

Interestingly, Leverkusen could not create many clearcut chances. Indeed, they took just eight shots across the match as they were marshaled well by Brest in their third game.

While Leverkusen have the tools to hurt Liverpool, I do not predict that they will do quite enough on the day to end Liverpool's perfect start to the campaign.
