PSV notched an impressive 3-1 win over Juventus in their last outing as they secured a 4-3 aggregate victory over their Italian opponents.

Arsenal were held to a 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest in their last match as they failed to score for a second consecutive game.

PSV put their ability to beat the top sides on full show across their Champions League playoff with Juventus in the last round as they secured a 4-3 aggregate win.

Victory came on the back of a 2-1 loss in Italy, with PSV desperately needing a win on their own patch. Roared on by their own fans, PSV took the game by the scruff of the neck in the second-half, securing a 3-1 win. Now, the home side turn their attention to ensuring they are still in this tie heading into the second-leg in London.

Eight of the last nine meetings between the sides have seen less than 2.5 goals, while Arsenal's run of scoring has been poor. PSV would love to go into the second-leg with the lead, but ensuring they are not out of the tie is also very important. Arsenal have been shaky at times, and if PSV go to the Emirates Stadium with a draw in their pocket, they will be very confident they can shock their hosts.

Arsenal have not been good enough of late, with their lack of firepower once again hurting them across a number of competitions.

Their 4-0 aggregate loss to Newcastle earlier in the year saw the Gunners knocked out of the League Cup, while they also lost 2-1 to Manchester United in the FA Cup. A 1-0 loss to West Ham was followed by a 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest in the league, with their hopes of securing the Premier League title in tatters.

Now, the only competition they can realistically win is the Champions League. However, it is worth nothing that Real Madrid, Liverpool and Barcelona look far better than the Gunners right now. With a lack of firepower heading into this one, the Gunners will likely take a draw on the road. Their last away game against Forest saw the match end 0-0, and I am backing another stalemate with less than 2.5 goals scored.
