This win was her 20th of the year, with the other 17 ending in defeats. Worrying for Stakusic is the fact that six of these defeats have come in her last eight outings, with the 19-year-old losing momentum as the year draws towards a close.

While Stakusic was able to end her four-match winning run, I do not predict that she will make it two wins on the bounce in this one. Ostapenko is the better of the two players, and I predict that she will find form in this one.
