Aston Villa have been very impressive in the Champions League this season, winning their opening two matches.

A 3-0 win over Young Boys was quickly followed by a stunning 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in which Villa took all three points from one of Europe's biggest players. This win will have given the outfit all of the belief they need to prove they are right at home among Europe's elite.

the task at hand is very different to their last outing against Bayern, with Villa the favourites to defeat their opponents this week. A win in this one would make it three on the spin, while it would see Villa edge closer to securing a spot in the next round.

Bologna Form

Bologna have not been good enough in Europe this season, with a single point coming from their opening two matches.

A 0-0 draw with Shakhtar in their opening match was followed by a 2-0 loss to Liverpool in which the side struggled to get going. While they did have their chances, Bologna were not good enough to take those opportunities.

While Bologna will hope they can unsettle a Villa side that is still very new to the top table in Europe, I predict that the travelling side will once again struggle.
