Saudi Arabia were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Indonesia in their first qualifying match.

Head To Head
The pair have shared four draws across their last 10 meetings, with China wining twice and their opponents securing four wins.
China Form
China desperately need some form of result after their humbling 7-0 loss to Japan ensured they began the third round of World Cup qualifying in the worst possible way.
While a trip to face Japan on their own patch is a tough assignment, China barely put up a fight as they saw 22% of the ball and took one shot which missed the target. By contrast, Japan enjoyed 78% of the ball and took 17 shots, scoring with seven of the nine that hit the target. While Japan were very good on the day, they were helped out by some awful performances from their opposition.
In their latest match, I am backing China to come out with a renewed sense of defensive purpose as they look to ensure they are not humiliated again. I am not backing them to get the win in this one though as they looked toothless going forward against Japan.
Saudi Arabia Form
Saudi Arabia were disappointing in their opening match last week, but they still managed to come away with a point in a 1-1 draw against Indonesia.
Saudi Arabia dominated the exchange enjoying 66% of the ball and taking 18 shots. Indonesia were far more clinical, scoring from one of their two shots on target. This week, Saudi Arabia must focus on ensuring they take their chances.
However, with a clash against a wounded China to come, I am backing the pair to share the points. Saudi Arabia will likely be pleased with an unbeaten start to their campaign, with a point from their trip to China a decent outcome.
